the past couple of days in montreal have been filled with lots of swimming and reading.

we got a bunch of travel books from the library and have begun dreaming of turkish coffee, turkish baths, and yes, meat on a stick.

we started our journey in temiscamingue, where rachel's grandfather had a farm. the green space offered a preview of what is to come in Ireland. rolling hills. sheep. fresh air. quiet.

A bad case of suitcases

Never realized how much clothes we had. We have so many suitcases. They all suffer from extreme obesity. Even though we made several runs to Value Village and Salvation Army. Now all the dressers and closets are empty. Next on the agenda is a run to the dump. Then we will be done inside the house. We will still have to send the dog for his sabbatical leave. Finally, pack the van, which seems so simple. Fitting all of those suitcases might be more like a giant 3D puzzle. Downsizing in Montreal will be a must. Otherwise, they won't let us board the plane. Where did all those shoes come from?

Nous quitterons Kingston dans trois jours.
