we love food. we love cooking. not surprisingly some of our travel destinations were influenced by our love of food. when thinking about food in the uk, the one food reference that jumps to mind is jamie oliver, of course. i looked up to see whether he had any restaurants in the uk -- and it turns out he has a chain of restaurants called jamie's italian, one of which is located in glasgow. so, we just had to go to dinner there!!!
we took the cutest little metro to downtown glasgow. the kids had a ball, it was like we were in a tiny spaceship.
jamie's italian was located on george square, the principal civic square.
we had the most amazing meal. true to jamie's cooking style on television it was simple and fresh. the restaurant is huge and it filled up so quickly. impressive.
