Playing host and aliens

We have the opportunity to host friends for the second time in a month. It is so much fun to be able to reconnect after so long.

It reminds me of old movies, where someone from a distant land is telling tales. His audience would listen so attentively, even ask questions about the veracity of rumored events they had heard before.

"Is it true that in Kingston snowbanks where that high? Any truth about that person's engagement? Where the Frontenacs that horrible, again? Did Dick Digger really found gold in Desperado City?"

These encounters will definitely help us not feel like aliens when we come home.
