hope you are all ready for school back in kingston. in the past, our tradition has always been to host a back to school party at this date. unfortunately, it looks like our kids will not be able to go to school next week. it being a recession and all, access to the public education system has been restrained. for the moment, eric has graciously offered to homeschool the kids. we wish you all a great new school year!

absence makes the heart grow fonder
sorry for the radio silence. colin, alexi and i were sick mid week. we rested a lot. yesterday we all went up to belfast again. the kids went back to the w5 museum -- they spent 7 hours there! they really enjoyed it. i brought my camera hoping to take pictures of belfast to show you all. it is really a beautiful city and is not what one would expect given all the history and frequent news of violent outbursts. but alas, as i was driving around, i could not take pictures. i tried to google images for you all hoping i'd come across some of the modern glass buildings that line the port, but i couldn't find anything.. it will have to be for another time.
