fall is the season for colds and flu bugs. kids return to school. university campuses fill with new students from different horizons. it's the perfect setting for sharing viruses. that is particularly true when you are in a new country. and so, as could be predicted, i have spent the past three days in pyjamas, sick. being in the land of eire, some of the conveniences of home are sorely absent. forget advil and tylenol, you can't find any in these parts. instead, they take nurofen.
but, sometimes change is good. i have been amazed by the effectiveness of these ibuprofen. they work within minutes of intake. you can literally feel the fog lift. they are my salvation. i'll be bringing back a couple of boxes when i return! in case you are wondering, i am feeling better this morning.
