high fidelity

a couple of weeks ago, eric got connected to a network of homeschooling parents. yesterday, while i am in washington, eric went on a trip to the museum with the kids and other parents. today, he went to visit a cave south of dublin.

i just spoke to him on the phone and i could hear that he was so content with his day. he feels like he is in playgroup mode again. the only stay at home dad surrounded by a sea of stay at home moms. most wives would be troubled at the thought of other women giving their phone numbers to their husband. in the past couple of days, my husband got two or three phone numbers. but, i couldn't be more pleased. it means he and the kids will have a chance to socialize and they will feel less isolated. besides, the ladies he met at playgroup back in kingston, are some of my dearest friends today!
