Overnight, on Boxing Day, temperature rose more than twenty degrees: from negative thirteen to above eleven! We are finally back to normal irish weather for this time of year.
We went out to feed the avian population of Corkagh park. Swans, mallards and seagulls are really struggling with the icy conditions at the pond. Stale bread was a well appreciated treat.
What a nice place to be on a mild winter's day!
We swung by the pet farm to say hello to the goats, sheep and pot-belly pigs.
The rose garden is now flowerless because of the frost but the gazebo still looks amazing and the iron gates make the area so peaceful.
