leo burdock

january has been a busy month work wise. so on wednesday, i needed a break. i longed to feel like a tourist again. so i took eric and the kids to eat lunch at leo burdock, a traditional fish and chips shop in dublin since 1913.

they wrapped big pieces of fried cod and french fries in paper. the irish like malt vinegar on their fish so we tried it out. it added a bit of a tang which was good. they had no seating in the restaurant so we returned to our car and ate there. the windows steamed up from the heat of our meal. we had a good laugh and we ate every last bite.
