Solas festival

We went down to City Centre to take part in the New Year festivities. The Solas festival of lights was held at the Dubh Linn Gardens in Dublin Castle to open the celebrations.

After the sun had set, a parade of illuminated musicians and stiltwalkers circled around the spectators, followed by a live performance of the Dublin Gospel Choir.

Standing in the dark night, the kids were amazed by the color of the lights and, above all, the 'spaghetti hair guy'...
