Tour de Britain

We have all but one accommodation confirmation for our forthcoming February road trip to Britain. "Road trip?", I hear you say. Of course, we will have to ride a ferry across the Irish Sea from Northern Ireland to Scotland. Like Tintin, we will discover parts of Scotland notably Glasgow and Edinburgh. We'll even call in for Nessie...

After, we'll drive south through England, stopping in Alnwick and Nottingham on the way. Where we'll be able to admire Hogwarts and hide in the Sherwood forest. In London, we have found, not without difficulties, a nice apartment in the eastern hemisphere, not far from Greenwich.

Our tour will end in the City of Bath, once occupied by the Roman legions of Julius Cesar. There, we will eat at Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's famous River Cottage Canteen. Reservations made. Will they serve fish?

Finally, we will drive through Wales to catch the ferry home, having covered all 4 countries that combine to make the United Kingdom.

Follow us on our journey starting the second week of February.

In the meantime, send us, in French or in English, suggestions, comments or questions, like:
What is the difference between England, Britain and the United Kingdom?
