meanwhile on the home front, the kids and i got ready for st-paddy's day. it is a big holiday in ireland. the festivities have already begun. we went to a kayleigh on sunday in a local school. it is an irish dance social event. it was a good craic. everyone was dressed in green so i inquired with my neighbor whether it was a good idea to dress up for st-paddy's day, or whether we would look like stereotypical tourists. apparently, the irish go all out! so yesterday, we went hunting for green stuff to wear in celebration but we were a bit late in the game -- the stores were sold out! we finally found a couple of things. i look forward to posting pictures of our st-paddy's day celebration! you'll have to be a bit patient ;)
