Recap

After me lad landed in Dublin, the first thing we did was to go to the local. Being a publican is something truly and deeply Irish. That is what most Irish men do on a Sunday afternoon, especially if there are big horse races on, like the Cheltenham Festival.

Sitting at the bar in Kenny's Pub, we chatted with our neighbors and the conversation was always entertaining. We talked about traveling, Paddy's Day, Canada... Who knew the "Trailer Park Boys" are popular canadian ambassadors in Ireland? Yes, Bubbles is quite the icon! Nothing to feel really proud of...

Soon, we were introduced to "King William". He told us he was flying to Montreal in the fall for his niece's wedding which will be held in Kingston of all places... He has been to Limestone City in the past and even had a pint at the Toucan. Imagine that! We told him to go our local next time, the Duke.

Later, we attended a Ceili at a nearby Gaelscoil. It was part of the week long St.Patrick's Celebration. My friend, a teacher, felt right at home during his school break, watching elementary children dancing in the gym. You can even spot us a few more times on this website. Yes, there is proof us having a good craic.
