one of the most popular figures in our family is mike payne. we talk about him all the time. "mike payne would like that...", "i'll take a picture to show mike payne", "i need to tell mike payne about this cooking book"... the boys actually think that his name is "mikepayne" because we always mention his surname when referring to him and we say it so often.
when we were in london, we walked into a cheese shop. we were in heaven. we actually got to taste local cheeses from across the country. the people working in the shop kept tasting the cheese as well... a dream job... i kept telling myself, mike payne would love this place. i've got to take a picture to show mike payne. so, mike, if you're out there, this one's for you. we miss you!!!!
