this weekend, we headed south of dublin to a town called dun laoghaire (pronounced dun leary). this is the place where you can take the ferry to england. it is also known for its beautiful beaches. we headed there for their farmer's market. eric had been communicating with a farmer about the possibility of going apple picking. as you all know, if we'd been in kingston, we would have gone apple picking a couple of times by now. unfortunately, it is not a popular activity in dublin and apple farms are not open to the general public, so we could only buy local apples at the market.
it was a beautiful day. the colors really came out well with my camera. so this post is really just about sharing those beautiful pictures of the kids and the coast with our friends and family back home.
